Somerset Court has an Activity Director just like one you’d find at a resort or on a cruise ship. Our Activity Director’s job is to get to know each resident and, when possible, provide opportunities catering to his/her interests. Once a resident has moved in, our Activity Director meets with every new resident and ask questions designed to get to know his/her interests, hobbies, and personality. This information is helpful in determining what activities are offered. The result is a wide array of senior activities as we strive to provide something for everyone.
We offer many different senior activities that reflect the many interests of our residents, such as:
Many activities are designed not only to entertain, but to help residents maintain their fine motor skills and mental awareness while building friendships and enriching our retirement community.
All activities are strictly voluntary, although it is rare to find someone who doesn’t enjoy and participate in at least one of the many scheduled activities on the calendar!
We welcome anyone in the community who wishes to teach residents and staff about their special skills, such as needlepoint or cards. Contact us today learn more about Somerset Court, a retirement community that truly has something for everyone.
